Sadly, there seems to be a problem with hello/picasa, the thingie that posts pictures to the blog, because it won't allow me (or hundreds of other irate users) to log in and post pictures today. I could describe in DETAIL the picture of LeeLoo wearing the Harry Potter Gryffindor scarf i made for newt! the picture is SO CUTE! i'm also pleased with the scarf, as is newt. he is wearing it to the movie tomorrow! Ack! I am so excited about the movie!
in other news, we are leaving sunday for newt's mom's house and our cats will be under the watchful gaze of winslow and bee, who are gracious and good house squatters that feed everybody on schedule, rub bellies, and play "kick the wonton".
i am not sure i am up to the cold weather of "the OKC", our holiday destination. (you must watch the king of the hill episode with snoop dogg's voice guest starring as a pimp from "the OKC") i am a thin blooded, cold wind hating woman and am dreading the idea 50 degree temperature. IN THE DAYTIME! And it gets to the 20's at night! this is so not my idea of fun. my idea of holidays involve sitting outside with a cool drink in a tank top. it could be worse, we could be going to our friends who live here for the holidays. . .

you know, there are national rules for kick the wonton. that damned cheat leeloo better not get herself sent out in some sportslike ruling that i don't have the energy to invent.
