spent the morning in miami wading through lines at the federal bldg to get our passports. procrastinating + federal govt = heartache and caffeine shakes. that's where i'm at. good news is that i can winnow my way into the heart of downtown miami again on friday to pick up our passports. why the rush job? because my father, his wife and their kids are taking us with them on a family vacation. we've never been invited on one of these deals before, and when is the next time someone is going to offer to pay for us to go to the dominican republic? also, it will make it easier for us to go visit al & trev in the UK this year (maybe next year?)
coming up:
after vacation: paint kitchen the lovely tangerine dreamcolor we picked out. yummy! it's a delicious almost cantaloupe colour. then put up new window thingies in kitchen. want to come help me destroy the old one? the previous owner had installed metallic hot pink plastic blinds. Probably in 1986 and had never touched them again. DISGUSTING!
