whee!

fun things are afoot!

first of all, thank you carol for sending me the link to the awesome skully keychain pattern!

second of all, if you are in the south florida area, i hope you can come to a very cool lecture my friend daniel is giving. you don't have to know squat about music in order to enjoy it! Here's the official press release:

Daniel Scheide, a librarian at Florida Atlantic University Libraries, will present a lecture titled “John Zorn and the Future of Jewish Music.”

Scheide will discuss how Zorn, a composer, arranger and multi-instrumentalist who has been influenced by free jazz, avant-garde, classical and hardcore punk, is challenging the perception of Jewish music.
