Magic Kingdom for Sale, Sold! by Terry Brooks (if never read this series, or are in the mood for great fantasy, look no further! don't be put off by the weak Publisher's Weekly review. they have a lot to answer for.)
Good in Bed by Jennifer Weiner (FINALLY read this after being pestered about it for years by all my friends. Nancy gave it to me to read last year, and now i can give it back, a little tear streaked but well enjoyed)
