The weather is cooler in S. Florida come fall, believe it or not. I often start my xmas gift knitting about now, especially for my brother scotty in vermont. he's a snowboarder and gets good use out of wooly hats. i also have a great friend who just moved to grand rapids, so i'm going to start something very warm for her. other than that, i pretty much knit the same stuff all year round. but i love to knit during all the fall tropical storms with some fall-scented candles burning.

here's a pic of a passion flower i took last year--not fall, but still the kind of beautiful fall scenery i have in my neck of the woods.

I never saw one of those! Nice. Guess you already know what I'm knitting with ;)

awww, I love those vines! The lovely elderly lady who was my over-the back-fence neighbor in St.Louis had them, but called them Maypops. They never fruited, but the vine would go from sprout to full bloom at an amazing rate, and always bloomed (popped?) in late May. : )
